THE CHURCH OF GOD IN

Georgia

Settled as the last of the original Thirteen Colonies in 1733, Georgia officially became a state in 1788. Today, it is considered the Empire State of the South for its economic resilience. During the Great Depression, a focus on aviation eventually led to the founding of Delta Air Lines—the oldest airlines in the U.S. still in operation. As the largest state east of the Mississippi River, Georgia has a lot to offer its residents, including serving as a home to the World Mission Society Church of God.
